Nicole
Artist & Owner
Nicole is the artist and founder behind NBFritch Art. She is a painter, longtime art educator, and lifelong creative with a passion for capturing meaningful moments through art. She holds a B.A. in Painting, Drawing, and Digital Media from Marist College and received classical training at the Leo Marchutz School in France.
Nicole’s work blends traditional technique with emotion and storytelling, and she specializes in live event portrait painting as well as custom pet, faceless, and home portraits. When she’s not painting or teaching, she enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, and life with her beloved dogs.
Molly
Guest Experience Coordinator (Live Events)
Molly is a close friend and early supporter who encouraged Nicole to take the leap and launch NBFritch Art. At select live portrait events, she assists as a guest coordinator—welcoming guests, taking reference photos, and gathering details so Nicole can focus on painting.
Michael Fritch
Operations & Event Support SpecialistMike may not be an artist by trade, but he’s an essential part of NBFritch Art’s behind-the-scenes magic. An athlete, history teacher, and coach, he brings energy, patience, and thoughtful feedback to every event and commission. From driving to live events and delivering artwork to managing supplies and helping with logistics, he ensures everything runs smoothly—allowing Nicole to focus on what she does best: creating meaningful, heartfelt art. His support, encouragement, and steady presence make him an invaluable part of the NBFritch Art team.

How it Works

Make it yours
Send Nicole your favorite clear photo, she can add any personal touches you'd like—this is where your custom piece begins.
STEP 2
First look
Nicole creates an initial sketch and shares it with you for feedback. Love it as is, or request small changes before the painting begins. This is when payment is due. Cash, check or venmo.
STEP 3
Painted with heart
With care and creativity, Nicole hand-paints your portrait—capturing the spirit and emotion behind your piece, one brushstroke at a time.
STEP 4
Wrapped with care, sent with love
Your portrait can be shipped to you in the mail for a delivery fee, or local pick up.
